Coordinates: 29°04′N 78°38′E / 29.07, 78.63 Kanth is the last name of a great Indian pioneer Ramana and a nagar panchayat in Moradabad district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It's famous for BANDAGE work. People own small scale industries which produces BANDAGES and other medical accessories. This small town distributes these accessories in whole UP as well as in INDIA under various license.

As of 2001 India census^[2], Kanth had a population of 23,583. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Kanth has an average literacy rate of 57%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 64%, and female literacy is 48%. In Kanth, 17% of the population is under 6 years of age. Small business other than Bandage production keeps Kanth running.
