Kansas City Roller Warriors

The Kansas City Roller Warriors are a roller derby league in Kansas City, Missouri, (USA). The league is composed of four member teams for play within the league and an allstar travel team to represent the league in competition with other leagues. The Kansas City Roller Warriors are the 2007 Champions of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association.[1]

[edit] Kansas City Roller Warriors

The Kansas City Roller Warriors is the area's premier, all-female roller derby league.[2] The league currently is ranked first in the country by the Women's Flat Track Derby Association.

Established in 2004, the KC Roller Warriors roller derby league is run by the skaters for the skaters and has more than 60 skaters/members. These 60 women are split into four home teams and some of the top skaters in the league also play on the KC Roller Warriors' All-Star squad, which competes nationally and won the 2007 Championship Title at the WFTDA's National Tournament in Austin, Texas. The Roller Warriors became the Champions after defeating the Rat City Rollergirls.
