Kanroku (觀勒 or 観勒 Kan'roku?, year of birth and death unknown) was a priest who came across the sea from Baekje to Japan in the Asuka period.
In 602, he brought with him science as practiced by the Chinese, including the Chinese calendar, the Chinese astronomy and writings about geography.[1]

In Feb 18th, 1977, H.Kosai and K.Hurukawa found a new asteroid (4963). It was named "Kanroku" for Kanroku by them.
