Kano baseball team

The Kano baseball team (嘉農棒球隊), officially the Kagi Nourin baseball team (嘉義農林棒球隊), was a Taiwanese baseball team established in 1928 during the Imperial Japanese period. In 1931, The Kano Baseball Team got second place in the National High School Baseball Championship. It also participated in the National High School Baseball Invitational Tournament several times. It was widely considered as the foundation of the development of baseball in the Chiayi area.
