Kannus

Kannus is a municipality of Finland.
It is situated in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Central Ostrobothnia region. The municipality has a population of 5,978 (2003) and covers an area of 462.77 km², of which 2.39 km² is water. The population density is 12.9 inhabitants per km².
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
