Kannada Chalavali Vatal Paksha

Kannada Chalavali Vatal Paksha (Kannada: ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಳುವಳಿ ವಾಟಾಳ್ ಪಕ್ಷ) is a regional political party in Karnataka, India. KCVP has a staunch pro-Kannada position, for example in the Kaveri river water dispute between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu or against any bifurcation of the state. The party is led by Vatal Nagaraj. In the 2004 state assembly elections the party won one seat. Further, he lost his seat in the 2008 May elections losing badly to the extent that he was unable to fetch his deposit back.
