Kannada American

Kannada American or Kannada Americans is the community of those who speak Kannada language and were born or settled in USA. There are large Kannada American communities in various cities, including the San Francisco Bay Area, the suburbs of Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, and Chicago. The various communities have come together to form what is commonly called "Kannada Koota" (Kannada Association). The majority of Kannada Americans are professionals in the engineering field, although physicians are not too far behind.^{[citation needed]}
