Kanina is a town in Mahendragarh district in the Indian state of Haryana.

As of 2001 India census[1], Kanina had a population of 10,196. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Kanina has an average literacy rate of 69%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 79%, and female literacy is 59%. In Kanina, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
