Kandija Bridge

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kandija Bridge is an iron bridge in Slovenia. It connects the old city core with Kandija.[1] The bridge is situated across the Krka River at the lower part of the Main Square.[1] It was built in 1898 to replace the old wooden bridge located tens of meters up the stream.[1] The riveted structure bridging the Krka River with a single 75 meters arch is a unique structure in Slovenia.[1]
