Kanchili is a village and a Mandal in Srikakulam district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.[1]
There is a post office at Kanchili.
Kanchili village is the local hub for the Coconut traders of the 'Uddanam'(variance from the sanskrit word 'Udyanam' meaning 'Garden')area. There are many Coir factories located in Kanchili.Except the original Telugu & Oriya inhabitant of this area traders from all over the country migrated to this tiny village decades ago and settled here after testing their fortunes. Punjabis, Marwaris, Bengalis, Keralites, Tamilians and Rajasthanis are settled here and doing well as traders. That's why the village resembles "Mini India".

"Kanchili" village acquired its name from the local village deity "KANCHAMMA" who is worshipped with all devotion by all the localites. The residents of Kanchili, as a matter of their social and moral responsibility, had renovated the old temple of goddess 'KANCHAMMA'. In her name they hold 'Sambaralu'(Festival) periodically. Those who are residing out of the village make a trip to Kanchili to attend the colorful fest. 'Kanchili' is located on the NH5. Though it has a Railway station, it is named after a neighboring large mandal "SOMPETA". Most of the trains passing through the Howrah - Chennai route halt here. This Railway station falls under SE Railways.
