Kan B'alam I

Kan B'alam I (September 20, 524 - February 3, 583) (also rendered as Kan Bahlam or Chan Balaam) was a ruler of the Maya city of Palenque. He took the throne on 8 April 572 at age 47 and ruled until his death.
