According to articles 36 and 37 of the copyright laws of Republic of Korea, under the jurisdiction of the Government of Republic of Korea all copyrighted works enter the public domain 50 years after the death of the creator (there being multiple creators, the creator who dies last). - Description: Promotional poster for the Na Woon-gyu (1902 – 1937) film, Kanggeonneo maeul (1935).
The copyright of this poster once belonged to Na Woon-gyu who was the director, actor, screenwriter, and producer of the film and owner of Na Woon-gyu production. However, 50 years after his death, the poster is now public domain in South Korea and other countries to which the similar copyright would apply.
