The following information was previously in the Kamo, Niigata article:

Kamo (Maori word) is a small town just north of (or some would argue a suburb of) Whangarei, a city of about 50,000 in Northland, New Zealand. It is also famous for having the northern-most located traffic lights in New Zealand.

Since it deals with New Zealand, I removed it from the Japan article and archived it. Perhaps this information will be useful for someone who knows about Kamo in New Zealand when originating a separate article. Fg2 12:28, Oct 15, 2004 (UTC)

Very useful indeed. I was surprised to find several New Zealand pages linking to a city in Japan. You will note that the former redirect page is now a disambiguation page! [[User:Grutness|Grutness talk ]] 07:49, 2 Dec 2004 (UTC)
