[edit] Sword Form's Back

The latest leaked image [1] shows Sword form's back. It looks suspiciously a lot like Axe Form's chest. Not sure if this has any relevance or notability, just thought I'd throw that out there if anyone was interested. Theredcomet2000 19:45, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

This actually does appear to be a pattern, as Rod Form's back was shown to be Sword Form's chest plate in episode 6. It's very likely that we'll end up with Axe Form taking Gun Form's chest as a back, and Gun Form taking Rod Form's chest as a back. DJ Kidna 20:56, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

Actually, the toys suggest that Ax Form's back is Sword Forms' front, and vice versa. Rod Form's shoulder pads are Ax Form's chest split into two.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 21:28, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Motifs

Where was it said what animals they're based off? Yaguruma 04:20, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Toy Fair Japan 2007. Changed the Axe form to the proper motif of beetle as shown in the DenLiner section. DJ Kidna 00:04, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Stop the stupid edit wars

Seriously, decide what it says, and just keep it. Stop freaking changing it back and fourth.

Also, side note, stop adding pointless information, dumb shit, and otherwise irrelevant information. I've finally cleaned the article up, don't screw it up again. Add information thats actually about Den'ou.

Floria L 20:39, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

I understand completely, however I must ask why so much from the DenLiner portion was removed. The part that showed the dog head and such and mentioned the legend of Momotaro was pretty accurate. But thank you for finally putting to rest the motif of Axe Form, at least with the train. To say that the DenLiner Axe form is a tiger is rediculous beyond reason. Also I might add that it's still up in the air what the motif for Sword form is beyond the legend of Momotaro aka Peach Boy.

DJ Kidna 02:51, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

Based on the legend of Momotaro. Thats all there is needed. Anything else would be going beyond the Denliner, but rather just talking about the legend. Its all been stated in the forms section, stating it again would be redundant. Floria L 04:00, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

Where does it actually say it's based on those legends? I haven't seen full versions of the pictures, so if someone can point me to those, it'd be much appreciated. Yaguruma 08:23, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

It was on the DenLiner attacking picture, i think i lost it. :'( Floria L 15:17, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:DenLiner_attack.jpg DJ Kidna 17:01, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

You need to switch the pictures of Rod Form and Axe Form. And this is getting rediculous, it's already been established that the Kouki train is a BUG TRAIN. According to the subbers at TV Nihon, who I'd assume know Japanese since they SUB SHOWS FROM JAPAN, it says BUG TRAIN. And they aren't the only ones who say this either. But I mean use your common friggin sense. It's got a beetle horn and insect legs coming out the sides. And once more, Gouka is based on the legend of Momotaro, not a phoenix motif. It's plainly and blatently evident by the dog, monkey, and pheasant. DJ Kidna 17:05, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

They use the motifs of animals, and are based off of legends. Although you're right, the train itself for Gouka isn't a phoenix, will remove that. Also, Beetle it is, fixing now. And the images are fine, i told you, if you put them exactly under each sub section, they end up all wrong. Floria L 19:50, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

Alright someone keeps changing the train from Beetle style to Tiger style and it's frankly becoming really really annoying. The fecking article as far as I've been told says BUG TRAIN, AGAIN. So I'm changing it back, AGAIN, and this better be the last time, or else a pox on thee who changes it. DJ Kidna 04:45, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, scan says Tiger. Floria L 01:28, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Alignment

Can we just pick one alignment for the form pictures and stick to it? I liked it better when they were all on one side, it seems out of wack now. Yaguruma 12:37, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

Yea, i forgot to fix that. It looked horrible before, and it still does when its aligned like that. Floria L 19:45, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Biography

Was planning on doing it by an episode-to-episode storyline, but Ryulong made me realize how stupid that was. Instead, how about adding major information and summarizing minor information every 3-5 weeks or so. Floria L 10:28, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

Maybe we could write it in a semi-expanded format after the episode itself airs and then compact it and change the tense used as new episodes air? I think that's why the Kabuto Rider articles are so messy in their bio sections, they're not really that great grammar wise. Yaguruma 14:11, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

True. Sounds like a good idea, compact it every 5 episodes or so, and elaborate moreso on major episodes. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Floria L (talkcontribs) 14:16, 9 February 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Rod Form

Rod form increases speed not lowers it. You can see that when Ultaros stops crab from escaping by using super-speed to grab on to one of his shoulders and throw him away from the water.

Actually... no. Look at stats. Floria L 14:05, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

Crab was litterly right next to the water while Ultaros was too far to grab him without moving at superspeed which you see him do when he moves quickly enough to blur right up next to him.

Take into consideration how fast 100m in 9 seconds is. I just saw someone go in about 10 seconds and they were pretty fast. And the Crab Imagin only about 10-20 meters away.I don't know, in the US we hardly know the SI units. It was close regardless. Rod Form is fast, but not as fast as other forms.White Coyote 02:02, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
The stats mean maximum speed. Obviously, going at 100m in 7 seconds is amazingly fast, and its just the other forms are amazingly faster. No question there, numbers speak for themselves. The rider doesn't operate at maximum speed all the time. –Floria L 01:09, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Personality. Is it really Ryotaro?

I've been really haveing trouble with this for a while. I don't think it is right to say when an Imagin posseses Ryotaro it is "his" personality. Ryotaro never really does anything while he is possesed but talks to the imagin. I feel it is really just the Imagin with Ryo's body. Like when Ryotaro passed out and Momotaro took over and did some illegal stuff, there was no Ryotaro. Either way, personality is a poor word choice to describe the possesing process. Is there some source that says otherwise?(White Coyote 22:51, 18 April 2007 (UTC))

It's more like the personality that is being expressed through Ryotaro. That's the only thing that we can equate it with, as the Imagin themselves are being manipulated a little by Ryotaro and whatnot.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 23:03, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] New form - Wing-form

I don't know if you want to add this yet, but there's apparently a new form known as Wing Form:

http://www.thai-toku.com/cgi-bin/Y1Gold/tcsyabb/index.pl?board=general&action=display&num=1179987528

I don't know if it's a movie-only form, or if it's a new form/super form, though considering past years it's likely to be both. Just throwing that out there. --Egocentrism04 08:00, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

Oh, and considering his belt style changes with this new form (which probably triggers that hidden button on the DX belt toy), my guess it that this is the super form - but that's purely speculation, no matter how well-thought it might be. --Egocentrism04 08:02, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
We should still wait a bit. We don't know if that's one of Ga-O's forms since the belt switches buckles. But it is something to note somewhere.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 08:04, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
I think we should wait a bit too, but I'd like to point out that it specifically says "Den-O Wing Form", so it is Den-O's form. There's also a new link (http://www.thai-toku.com/cgi-bin/Y1Gold/tcsyabb/index.pl?board=general&action=display&num=1180002009) with another new form that makes sense (as opposed to Wing Form which doesn't reference any of his past transformations), but, again, I think we should wait a bit. I'm just adding these links for later references. --Egocentrism04 17:04, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
Oh, and the new form in the new link is "Climax Form" --Egocentrism04 17:08, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Pictures of Kingliner; Denebic buster, Zero For, and Liner form holding the Denkamen sword

I've stumbled on some pretty decent scans of Kingliner, The Denebic Buster, and the above named material. This is not only valuable as pictures, but as a refferance source; it shows costume details and colorations. It's the 9th post down, here: http://forum.tokuasia.com/viewtopic.php?p=16869&sid=8912d54a6bb46cdd3ec0ff20a5e45499 Alas, I lack the knowledge on how to cite a source on wikipedia, so I'll just hand this data over to you guys, and whoever has the time and skill can look it over and install it if it's good enough. [edit] Plot hole

I thought the synch between the Ryoutarou's imagin is lost, so why can Ryoutaou still poses Ryotarou for gun form if their synch is lost. Rider555 16:40 October 31, 2007

  • It's due to the posession is finctional at prsent time and outside time. The past seems to negate the "in-sync" posessions. Fractyl (talk) 06:46, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dining Car

Does ANYONE have any idea where the DenLiner's Dining Car is located? Is it car 3,4,5, or some other car?

66.244.64.101 (talk) 19:54, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

It was never mentioned. It's just another car on the train, probably after the main four of Gouka.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 22:11, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
