Kamionek

Kamionek, a neighbourhood in Warsaw, located on the right bank of the Vistula River, formally a village, in XIX century with beginning of Industrial Revolution in this part of the Russian Empire, transformed in to textile industry center. Today it is part of Praga Południe, where the city office is located, most of its factories are not operated after the fall of the Communism in Poland. It borders the Park Skaryszewski and Kamionek Lake to the south, Grochów to the east, and Praga to the north.
