Kaminia (Greek: Καμίνια) is a village in the prefecture of Achaia, Greece. Since the 1980s, the village is bypassed by GR-9 (Patras - Pyrgos - Kyparissia). It is part of the municipality of Vrachneiika, in the southern part. Distance from Patras is 17 km SW and 79 or 77 km NE of Pyrgos (old distance: 83 km). Its nearby communities are Alissos to the southwest, Tsoukaleika to the north, Agios Stefanos to the east and Kamenitsa to the south. The road is also connected to the Patras Industrial Area and sometimes to GR-33. Its main business was agriculture, today, most of its industries are manufacturing especially the industrial area and services.

The village has a school, a church, a hotel, a small square (plateia), and a beach. The community has a small train station and is connected by rail. The local geography has a few farms and east are covered with hills with a few abandoned quarries by the road linking the GR-9 and the Patras Industrial Area as well as the GR-9. Kaminia has approximately 8 km of paved road and 10 km of gravel roads. Sinania also has approximately 6 to 8 km of hydro lines as well as phone lines. Houses were stone-built until the 1950s and did not surpass modern-style homes until the 1980s. It was linked with pavement in the 1980s. Several stone-built houses remain. After World War II and the Greek Civil War, much of the population left for larger towns and cities especially the nearby Patras until the 1980s when suburban housing arrived.
