The Kamikaze-class destroyers were a class of destroyers in the service of the Imperial Japanese Navy from World War I through World War II.
Nine ships of the class were built, from 1921 to 1925. By the time World War II broke out, the Kamikazes, largely obsolescent, were being modernized. Construction of the last two planned Kamikazes was cancelled in conformance with the Washington Treaty
In design, they were essentially improved Minekaze-class destroyers.
