This station has two side platforms and wooden station building. When it opened, it had only a single through platform, but just before Gotemba Line's electrification, facilities for trains' crossing had attached and came to have two platforms.

- June 1, 1948 Opened. This station was treated as a one handling passenger and luggage.
- April 17, 1968 With electrification coming, additional facilities has been built.
- April 27, 1968 Route between Kōzu Station and Gotemba Station was electrified.
- February 1, 1971 Discontinued services of handling luggage.
- March 22, 1997 Became unmanned.
