Kamenica nad Hronom (Hungarian: Garamkövesd) is a municipality and village in the Nové Zámky District in the Nitra Region of south-west Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1156.

The village lies at an altitude of 117 metres and covers an area of 18.795 km². It has a population of about 1315 people.

The population is about 80% Magyar and 20% Slovak.
