Kamavarapukota-534 449 is at Eluru-Jangareddygudem road. This place is typically a hill region.This village is supposed to be the birth place of famous telugu actress Jamuna.[citation needed] Kota Gattu is famous here. Apart from it, many hills can be seen from this village. World famous Guntupalli Hills are located in this mandal. Former State Minister Sri Kotagiri Vidhyadhara Rao is from this mandal. Now this Constituency is represented by Ganta Murali Rama Krishna.

The Old temple called Veerabhadra Swami Aalayam is also situated in this village.
