Please also note that not everybody is going to agree with your comments, likewise your not going to agree with everyone elses thats life, on wikipedia we assume good faith, try to be civil. Try to avoid wheel wars see WP:3RR and always include a citation for facts, be boldbut if others dont agree use the talk page. [edit] Talk page spam
Please don't make disruptive edits like this one on talk pages. Talk pages are for discussing the articles themselves, not for discussing the subject of the articles. I know sometimes the line between the two can be blurred, but remember that Wikipedia is not a soapbox. This is not a place to argue about politics of the situation; there are many other websites for that. You're welcome to discuss how to deal with specific points of contention within the article, but please don't post 10,000-word rants on talk pages. This simply isn't the place for it. If you have any questions, please ask. Kafziel Talk 21:45, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Chamarajanagar district
I have removed your edits to this aritcle. The section that you have added makes no relevance to that article and is your POV. If you may want to add details related to the suffering of the people there, please add appropriate citations. Maybe you can create a section called 'Economy' and then create a sub-section called 'Agriculture' and then add factual details with appropriate citations. Wikipedia is not a forum to express frustrations... Amarrg 07:44, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Kodava.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Kodava.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Fanaa.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:Fanaa.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 02:52, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Kuppalli-Hatti.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Kuppalli-Hatti.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 15:01, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Replaceable fair use Image:Manthana_Sethuram_07.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Manthana_Sethuram_07.jpg. I noticed the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast 16:48, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] October 2007
Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Sanatana, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. Pigman 06:17, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Image:Mungaru-wall009.jpg
A tag has been placed on Image:Mungaru-wall009.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
