Kalyvia, Heraklion

Kalyvia is a village in the Heraklion Prefecture on southern Crete in Greece.[1][2] Alternatively this settlement is known as Kalivia. The local area was important in the Minoan era, as manifested by the extensive ruins of nearby Phaistos, a major palatial settlement of the Bronze Age.[3]
