Kalyanpur is a village in Mau district of eastern UP state of India. This village is famous in the history of the Indian struggle for independence, as the three important "Freedom fighters" were born here.
The three "Freedom fighers" are: Satya Ram Singh died in violent fight against English men; Dalsingar Pandey (deceased) and Mr Ram Chandra Maurya who is still alive today. This village also famous for 100% literacy, despite being located in an area of low literacy.
