Kallur is a small town in Tumkur district of Karnataka state in India. It is mainly known for its handloom silk sarees. It is also famous for an annual Festival called DODDAMMANA HABBA which is celebrated after 21 days form the festival ugadi. People from all over Karnataka gather to seek the Blessing of LORD DODDAMMA. Major attraction of the festival is, people sacrifice BULL for the Goddess.
There is a person called NATARAJ K G, a social server, who is working hard day and night for the upliftment of this village. His contribution to the village is, he has donated his Agricultural land for the construction of an Hospital, Built Roads, Ensured the village has mobile connectivity.
