Kallon Football Club commonly known as F.C. Kallon, formerly Sierra Ficheries, is a Sierra Leonean football club from the capital Freetown
Kallon is one of the top clubs in the Sierra Leone National Premier League and play their home games at the National Stadium in Freetown. Sierra Fisheries was acquired by Mohamed Kallon in 2002 for USD 30,000.[1]
The club is named after and owned by the successful Sierra Leonean footballer Mohamed Kallon, who has played for Inter Milan, AS Monaco FC and most recently Al-Ittihad. His brother, Musa Kallon, is the current chairman. The former name of the team is Sierra Fisheries and under that designation won 3 national championships.
Kallon FC won the Sierra Leonean FA Cup, and the Sierra Leone League title in 2006, and qualifying for the African Champions League.
