Kaliakudi Natesa Sastry was a noted exponent of Harikatha, who hailed from Tiruvarur and lived during the latter half of the 19th century and first 20 years of the 20th century.[citation needed] One of his prominent disciples was Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavatar.[citation needed]
