Kalia the Crow

Kalia the Crow is a cartoon character in the popular Indian weekly comic Tinkle. Kalia is a crow that usually features in strips of the Kalia the Crow series. Chamataka the fox and his accomplice and friend Doob Doob are usually featured desperately trying to catch two rabbits, Keechu and Meechu, however the rabbits are always saved by the clever Kalia. A snake called Ajgar comes in one comic only to be outsmarted by Kalia. Kalia also has a friend the she-crow named Bhoori.

Chamataka is a fox that usually features in strips of the Kalia the Crow series, and is seen working together with his other accomplice, his friend Doob Doob, a loyal but somewhat dimwitted crocodile. They are featured trying to catch prey, usually two rabbits, Keechu and Meechu, and come up with a variety of schemes to do so. The rabbits, however, are always saved by the clever Kalia, making him one of Chamataka and Doob Doob's chief enemies. Kalia has nevertheless saved their lives too on occasion.
