Kali River (Karnataka)

The Kali River or Kalinadi is a river flowing through Karnataka state in India. There are many dams built across this river for the generation of electricity. The river has its origin in the Western Ghats and flows westwards to join the Arabian Sea near the town of Karwar. The river flows mostly through the district of North Canara. The river has tributaries, Upper Kaneri and Tattihalla.
