Kalgoorlie Miner

The Kalgoorlie Miner (known commonly as The Miner) is a daily newspaper produced for the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder and the Goldfields-Esperance region.
It is published Monday to Saturday by Hocking & Co. Pty Ltd in Kalgoorlie and printed by Colourpress Pty Ltd in East Victoria Park. The West Australian and The Kalgoorlie Miner are the only two newspapers in Western Australia produced daily. It is also part of the West Australian Regional Newspaper network.[1]

The Kalgoorlie Miner has a rich history for its advocacy for politicians and people of the goldfields in distinction to the coast and Perth the state capital [2]

Out of the entire Kalgoorlie Goldfields 18+ population, 88% of people read the paper, and 96% have unprompted awareness of it.
Daily circulation is 5,746 copies, with 8,000+ sold on Saturdays.[3]

The Monday to Friday editions are $1.00 (AUD) each, and Saturday edition $1.40 (AUD).
