Kaleidoscope Superior is the major label debut by Earthsuit. The album features updated versions of select songs from the band's two independent releases, as well as other new songs. "One Time" was the first single serviced to radio from the album. A music video was also shot for "One Time" and could be seen on Christian television networks as well as late night rotations on MTV2.

- The original version of "Whitehorse" included a sample of Stevie Wonder's "If It's Magic" which could not be cleared for their major label release. A similar loop was recreated in the studio.
- The Kaleidoscope Superior album cover is designed to be viewed like one would a 3-D comic book. Press kits and select packagings of the album came with special 3-D glasses with which to view the cover.
- The advance promotional version of Kaleidoscope Superior (with a blue CD as opposed to the pink retail version) has a the original version of a guitar riff in "Osmosis Land" that is flipped backwards in its retail version.
- The music video for "One Time" was filmed in a Nashville airport and featured Adam LaClave's dog Charlie.
