Kalani High School is a WASC-accredited four-year public high school located in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, USA. Kalani is a part of the Hawaii Department of Education. Kalani is located on Kalanianaʻole Highway.
Opened in 1958, it serves the residential areas of Niu, ʻĀina Haina, ʻĀina Koa, Maunalani Heights, Waiʻalae-Kāhala, Kāhala, and portions of the Kaimukī area. The current principal is Gerald Teramae. Prior to his arrival in October of 2006, the principal was Randiann Porras-Tang.
Their facilities include: 9 main buildings, a PE locker/trainer facility, cafeteria, gymnasium, several portable buildings which serve as a temporary home for the Red Cross, a large building for their musical department, a swimming pool, tennis courts/basketball courts, and a football field/soccer field/marching band practice surrounded by a dirt track.
The school mascot is the Falcon. The school colors are red and white.

Starting in the 1970s there was a decline in athletics due to the opening of the Kaiser High School district. Kalani currently holds the OIA Eastern division title in girls varsity soccer. In the school year 2005-2006, the girls varsity basketball team won the State Division II Championship. The girls volleyball team won the OIA Championship in the 2003 season.

Kalani High is one of only two public high schools in the state of Hawaii that is listed "in good standing" according to the No Child Left Behind assessment tests.[citation needed] Freshmen and sophomore students are grouped into Smaller Learning Community "houses" which consists of team teachers from the core subject areas. Advance Placement courses are offered for Calculus, U.S. History, Junior and Senior level English, Chemistry, Physics, Japanese, Chinese, Macroeconomics and Spanish.
