KalamatianĂ³ is a type of music that befits a style of Greek dancing. For each Greek dance, you need to have a certain beat that is not too fast or too slow. This style of traditional Greek dancing is where all of the dancers stand in a line and link hands. Their hands are held up, not down. The person at the end of the line typically holds a handkerchief, or puts their hand behind their back. This music originates from Kalamata in Greece.
