Kalach (town)

Kalach (Russian: Калач, 50°26′N, 41°00′E) is a town and administrative center of Kalacheevsky District of Voronezh Oblast, Russia. It is located junction of Tolucheevka River and Podgornaya River, 294 km of Voronezh.

Population: 20,500 (2005 Est).

The settlement was established in 1716 and granted a city status in 1945.
