[edit] 3RR
Kain, you've been reported for a 3RR violation at Saudi Arabia. If you revert again, you may be blocked for 24 hours. Please take your concerns to talk. SlimVirgin (talk) 02:23, May 9, 2005 (UTC)
- Also, please don't leave abusive edit summaries. See Wikipedia:No personal attacks. SlimVirgin (talk) 02:28, May 9, 2005 (UTC)
You have been blocked for breaking the 3RR for 24 hours. Saudi Arabia has been protected, please verify the accuracy of your edits on the talk page, sources for the information you have included on religious police in Africa would be appreciated. Also please note the Wikipedia policy: Wikipedia:No personal attacks. --nixie 02:31, 9 May 2005 (UTC)
- I've unblocked him as he made no further edits after the warning and the page is now protected. SlimVirgin (talk) 02:41, May 9, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Dhimmi
I share your frustration, however being a newbie I'm still learning how to be effective. Evidentally the "wholesale laundrylist" approach is viewed as confrontational. What seems to be most effective is to have such solid research & evidence that someone would be afraid to challenge it. Perhaps we can work together on this. Have you studied this source on dhimmitude? [1] The author has numerous articles on the subject. Nobs 21:33, 10 May 2005 (UTC)
I am looking for some help for creating 2 articles related to Saudi Arabia. Specifically, someone deleted both articles on Tommy Boggs and Patton Boggs LLC, the lobbying firm under criminal investigation for acting as an unregistered agent for Saudi Arabia [2]. Tommy Boggs is Cokie Roberts of ABC and NPR's brother. See both thier references here [3]. Someone deleted all references to Tommy Boggs & Patton Boggs from Wikipedia. Would you be interested? [edit] 3RR
Kain, you're in danger of violating 3RR at Dhimmi. Just a friendly note to make sure you're aware of it. SlimVirgin (talk) 03:53, May 11, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Vandalism
Do not accuse other users of "vandalism" for making edits you disagree with. This is considered a personal attack. It is also a misuse of WP:VIP, which is an important policy page. It makes it more difficult for administrators to block actual vandals when dealing with frivolous reports like the one you submitted against User:Yuber. Firebug 04:40, 12 May 2005 (UTC)
- Hello, KaintheScion. I removed your entry from Wikipedia:Vandalism in progress, as it does not appear the user in question has actually engaged in vandalism. Please take a look at Wikipedia:Vandalism to see what Wikipedia considers vandalism. If the user has vandalized in this manner, feel free to re-add the entry, and provide diffs to point us to examples of the vandalism. Thanks! — Knowledge Seeker দ 05:02, 12 May 2005 (UTC)

- Thanks for your reply. You do bring up a good point. I personally would not consider this sneaky vandalism, as I don't think the intent is to mislead and I don't believe the issue is as clear-cut as sneaky vandalism normally is. Nevertheless, if you wish to re-add the entry, I will not remove it again. — Knowledge Seeker দ 05:28, 12 May 2005 (UTC)

- I see. I do not believe User:Firebug is an administrator, and in any case I don't think it's very nice to call someone a "rogue admin". Especially in the absence of any misuse of administrative powers, this could be considered a personal attack. — Knowledge Seeker দ 05:36, 12 May 2005 (UTC)
