I would make an argument that by definition, an ontology does not qualify as a controlled natural language, as ontologies are typically confined to the concept level, whereas controlled natural languages typically operate on the sentence level. Autoterm 13:48, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

I don't know what you mean by "concept level". Ontologies (like those written in OWL) are sets of axioms. An axiom corresponds very well to a sentence in natural language. Kaikjotja 18:09, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
