Kaithacodu is a spiritual and cool village in the south west of Pavithreswaram Panchayath in Puthoor. Pincodu-691543.

There is an LPS school that has years of tradition. The main Junction is Puthenchanda. There is a market, Sub post office, Telephone Exchange, Indian bank along with various kinds of Shops and sellers.

The main temple is Kaithacodu sree Indilayappan Temple. The other temples are Kanyarkavu temple, Nediyavila temple, Varur Temple...etc.

There are a lot of rock quarries.

Bus routes are Kundara-kallada-Puthoor, Kaithacodu-Kollam, Kottarakkara-puthoor-Kaithacodu. District-Kollam, Thaluk-Kottarakkara. Panchayath-Pavitreswaram. Village office at Pavithreswaram.
