Kaiser Hamid

Kaiser Hamid (Bengali: কায়সার হামিদ) is a Bangladeshi soccer player. He gained fame in the 1980s and 1990s as a central defender for Mohammedan Sporting Club in Dhaka's domestic league. His imposing height and mass of curly hair made him instantly recognizable on the soccer pitch, and he was a darling of Mohammedan fans for many years. He also represented Bangladesh at the national level.

Kaiser Hamid's mother Rani Hamid is also a famous sportswoman in her own right. She is the first female chess master in Bangladeshi sporting history.
