Kaimakchalan or Kaimaktsalan is the name given to a mountain in far northern Greece. Although southern Greeks refer to it as "Voras", literally "North", the name Kaimakchalan has remained since the Ottoman occupation of the Greek Macedonian area.
The mountain operates as a ski resort during the winter months of the year, and is quite popular with Greeks, especially those living nearby in the Pella Prefecture. Among the nearby places to the mountain are:
- The hot springs of Pozar, again also known as Loutra Loutrakiou to southern Greeks, where tourists and locals visit during the winter months.
- The town of Kerasia, with its beautiful houses, park, and cherry trees, after which it is named.
