Kaili

Kaili is a city in the Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture in Guizhou province in China. It has a population of approximately 450,000. The area is 1306 km2. The postal code is 556000. A significant population of the Miao and Gejia people groups live in Kaili. It is a popular destination for backpackers and others seeking to experience rural China.

The arts and crafts of the Miao, such as the embroidery, brocade, wax printing, and paper cut, are famous in China and abroad.

Kaili is host to more than 100 Miao festivals throughout the year. [1][2]
