Kailashpati Mishra

Kailashpati Mishra (Birth 5th October 1926, Dudharchak, Buxar, Bihar [1]in a Bhumihar family[2]) is a leader of Bharatiya Janta Party and a former governor of Gujarat and Rajasthan states in India. [3] Kailashpati Mishra, a bachelor and popularly called the "Bhishmapitamah" of Bihar has been affiliated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh since 1944 and was even jailed after the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi.[4]Mishra was also appointed Bihar's finance minister in 1977-78 when the Janata Party government was in power.[5]
