Kai Atō (阿藤 快 Atō Kai?, b. 14 November 1946, Odawara, Kanagawa) is a male Japanese actor and TV presenter. His real name is Kōichi Atō (阿藤 公一 Atō Kōichi?), and his former stage name was Kai Atō (阿藤 海 Atō Kai?) using different kanji characters.

Atō was a kid baseball player of his hometown. And he wanted to spend his highschool life as a player though his highschool, Seisho Highschool of Kanagawa, had no teams.
Atō had finished his hometown days, he entered in Tokyo Metropolitan University, majoring the law-social science. After graduation, his career as an actor was filled with "villain" for ten years.
