[edit] Notability
As I don't read Japanese, I haven't been able to establish Kagome's notability in the normal way, with extensive coverage in reliable sources. A mention in QSR magazine is not enough. However, I think that
- a listing on the main market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, and
- the first ever tomato grower in Japan
both point to notability. I would like help to firmly establish notability, in case I need to defend it from deletionists; so could readers of Japanese please identify sources, such as major newspaper articles? Translations of short extracts would also be helpful. --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 13:45, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- Have you checked financial sites in English, for example Google Finance? --Sushiya (talk) 14:07, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

- Good question. I included the most notable English language material from Google into the article. There was little significant coverage, only press releases, and brief mentions in the financial press. I will cite this very short article in Forbes: http://www.forbes.com/markets/feeds/afx/2007/05/17/afx3734200.html --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 15:08, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

- Does this 1991 article from the Modesto Bee help establish notability? [1] I didn't add it to the Wikipedia article.
- I think the English Jiji Press article [2] helps too, but it is very much a summarized press release. --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 15:25, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
-
- Japan Weekly Monitor (English) [3]. Is that worth adding to the article? I think the article would really benefit from some major Japanese-language sources. --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 15:52, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
