Kage can be:

• a former nickname used by famous J-rock & J-pop singer, Hironobu Kageyama.
• a recursive acronym of KAGE: Alternative Game Engine.
• a reference to a being from what some religions call "Dawn-Time".
• Japanese for "shadow" written in rōmaji. This is used in:
  • the main character in the Virtua Fighter series of video games; see Kage-Maru.
  • the Japanese release title for the video game Shadow of the Ninja.
  • the name of a ninja in the PlayStation game Suikoden.
  • a rank of ninjas in the popular manga and anime Naruto; see Kage.
  • a type of creature in the series Blue dragon Ral grado
• the nickname of Kyle Gass, a member of the band Tenacious D
• also the Danish word for "cake".
