Kadampa Buddhist Temple

Located at Conishead Priory in Ulverston, England, and consecrated in July 1997, the NKT-Kadampa-Temple is the main meditation hall at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre and the location of annual Spring and Summer Festivals attended by New Kadampa Tradition (NKT) Buddhists from all over the world.

According to the NKT Temple site:

"The International Temples Project was established by Venerable Geshe Kelsang in the early nineties. The vision is to build a Kadampa Temple for World Peace in every major city in the world."[1]

Different NKT Temples are currently under construction in various countries.
