Kackley, Kansas

Kackley is an unincorporated rural area in Republic County, Kansas, United States. The town was once a trade center and was considered a "booming" town in the late 1800s and early 1900s. At its peak, the population was 200 but as of 2007 has dwindled to 13 residents. It was named for Joe Kackley, the original land owner[1].
Today Kackley is the home of a grain elevator and a mechanics shop[2].
