I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Dr. N.V. Dravid, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Kabil, you've added articles for every successive dean. Unless there is more to say about them than that, they are unlikely to be considered notable enough for WP purposes, and will undoubted all be deleted. They probably had distinguished careers as medical scientists--if you can add something about them, then the articles might be defensible. Otherwise, I suggest that you work on some more productive subjects where there is something substantial to say. At WP currently, very short articles are, unfortunately, likely to be deleted before there is a chance to expand them, so I would advise preparing them off-line first. DGG 21:56, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Deans In general: I do not think pages like the above will possibly be considered in WP unless there is substantial information about each person, including references. If your plans were to go back and fill in, unfortunately this reasonable methods doesn't work here. You will do much better to write the full article on your own computer, and put them here only when they are completed. I didn't set it up that way, but that is what the custom seems to be. Thanks for uploading Image:Rajattokas.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:RajatTokas.jpg. The copy called Image:RajatTokas.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
