talk:Kabalagala

Kabalagala is a major trading post inbetween central Kampala and the Victoria lake resort of Munyono. It has some very poor parts, but is generally not dangerous. It has a justifiable reputation as an area where the bars are frequented by malaya (swahilli for prostitutes). But in reality there are no more working girls than in any other bars in Kampala. Kampalan flock from all over the city to sample its restaurants and very lively nightlife. Here you will find people from all over Africa and the world.

Compared to virtually any other capital city in the wotld the number of illegal drug dealers is low. You are highly unlikely to be offered anything other than weed.
