Kabirwala is in Punjab Province, Pakistan. Its geographical coordinates are 30°20'10" North, 70°43'30" East.^[1] It is one of four tehsils in Khanewal District.^[2]

There are 34 unions in Kabirwala.^[2]

Kabirwala is a city north of Khanewal at MultanJhang road 40 km from Multan to Jhang and is part of the district Khanewal.

Kabirwala is a fertile land when it comes to resources. It's a land of ruins, rivers and lush green fields.

In the city of Kabirwala there are two markets (main bazaar and short bazaar) and a market at Sardar pur road, Kukar Hatta road. Kabirwala has police stations, two degree colleges for boys and girls and one commerce college.

In the city is a youngsters group named “SHEHR DOST” (city’s friend) with young members (Faisal Hashmi,Faisal Bhatti, AtiQ-ur-Rehman Rufi, Ehsan Haider Shani, Shahid Rizwan, Umair Masood, Arshad Kamran, Wajid Waseem John, Mohsin Rafique, Muzamil Shafaat, Zohaib Khan) from different departments in Government and Private sector. We found these youngsters having extra ordinary qualities to focus the social problems to higher authorities and solve these problems from different ideas. These SHEHR DOST members together every night and discuss in literature, social problems and help the poor people.And some of them always keep TEEKA with them, TEEKA is a term designed by 2 of them (namely Ehsan Haider Shani,Wajid Waseem John). Main idea is that to find newcomers for some treat on his expenses by different tactects:).

One Caution - walking around the roads in evenings, stay focused and listen to intellectuals deciding the fate of globe over a cup of tea. These are real geniuses who can be found at different places like Arif Hotel, Nadda continental, City More, and loads of other interesting places. Kabiwala's soil helped Baydil Haideri grow his intellectual skills, was behind Khadim Rizmi's award winner "Man Warti" and a great novelist and Intellectual Qais Saleemi.

Kabirwala was part of Multan until restructuring made the largest sub division of Khanewal district."PIR KABIR" is the place which have history. This city called Kabirwala due to a great saint Hazrat Baba Pir Kabir lived in this area.

First Multinational company in Kabirwala. Profarm Pakistan Private Limited has launched its 5th center at Kabirwala in Punjab province. Regional Office of Profarm Pakistan is located at Sardarpur road and it is inaugurated in month of November, 2007. Profarm Pakistan is the company who is responsible for providing the quality animal breeding services to the farmers of District Khanewal. Company is of Holland origin and its head office is located in Lahore. Profarm has its regional offices in Depalpur, Sargodha, Burewala, Bhowana and now in Kabirwala. Dr. Adil Islam is area manager of Profarm Pakistan Regional Office Kabirwala. Profarm has a network of qualified Artificial Insemination Technicians who are giving A.I services at the door step of farmers and by now imported and proven high quality bovine semen is available in District Khanewal, just because of Profarm Pakistan.

A Power Plant is working in Kabirwala known as Fauji Power Plant. and also a Gas Plant working in suburban area of Kabirwala known as Nand Pur Gas Field. there are more than 50 Private and 20 Govt. Schools are working in this city.and there are too many private organizations are working (under UNESCAP, Royal Netherlands Government, United Nations Development Program, Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation and The Asia Foundation). and more than 5 private hospitals and 1 Tehsil Head Quarter Hospital is working in Kabirwala. There are more than 7 Banks are working in Kabirwala.and in this city too many Floor Mills, Textile Mills, Agri Culture Farms, Poultry Farms, Cotton Factory and Oil Mills and Paper Mills are Working in Kabirwala and there are too many Bricks Company Working in Kabirwala and there is a largest Coal Trader, Chuahdery Coal Traders Kabirwala Company is supplying Coal to all these Bricks Companies. There is a Telephone Exchange in Kabirwala and all of the Mobile Companies are working in Kabirwala. There is also a Cricket (KCC) and a Football (KFC) Team in Kabirwala . There are 2 Bus Stations in Kabirwala. An Important Union in Kabirwala Mulapur is an important village and one of 34 Unions of Kabirwala. It is famous for some of its most renowned personalities like Tasleem Sohail, Waseem Rana, Bilal Rana, Hanan Hashmi, Sajid Rana, Rana Shoaib and etc. They are the most talented youth of Mulapur. Some of them are in services and the others are studying in different classes.
