KABX is an oldies station in Merced, California at 97.5 FM.

KABX was previously an automated easy listening station with the callsign KMYT. KMYT was the original FM sister station to KYOS AM 1480.

KABX is owned and operated by Mapleton Communications LLC. Mapleton also owns KYOS-AM, KTIQ-AM, KLOQ-FM, KBRE-FM, and KNAH-FM, which all cover the Merced County California area.

KABX was originally located at the KYOS-AM transmitter site, but was relocated to Shultz Mountain in Cathys Valley, CA in late 1999, and early 2000 to gain better signal coverage.

Presently, KABX can be heard in a very large area from approximately Stockton, CA to south of Fresno CA.
