K r buxey

k r buxey (born 1967 in Reading, Berkshire) is an English photographer and video artist. She graduated from the Brighton School of Art in 1999 and gained an MA from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2001. Her work has been included in new contemporaries ’99 (1999), EAST 2001 (2001), Reality Check (2003) and Seduced (2007).

Perhaps her best-known work is the video installation Requiem which shows the artist's face (see image, above) as she receives oral sex to a background of Fauré's Requiem. It is conceived as both a homage and a counterpoint to Andy Warhol's Blowjob (1963).
